Meet Nia: Your AI Productivity Assistant Who Actually Gets You
Learn how rivva's AI productivity assistant plans your day, schedules tasks around your energy levels, and coaches you through your workload. Discover prompts and tips to help you.
You know that friend who knows exactly when you need a coffee break, when you’re most productive, and when to just call it a day? That’s Nia.
Nia is rivva’s AI productivity assistant, but she’s not your typical chatbot. She’s context-aware, proactive, and designed to work with your natural rhythms instead of against them. Think of her as a planning coach who understands your energy, time, and routines, then uses that context to support how you move through your day.
What makes Nia different?
Most AI assistants are reactive. You ask, they answer. Nia? She’s proactive. She learns your energy patterns, notices when you tend to burn out, understands when you focus best, and knows what helps you recharge. Over time, her guidance gets more tailored to you specifically.
This isn’t basic AI. This is care, wrapped in code.
Where can I find Nia?
Everywhere. Seriously. Whether you’re on the mobile app or web, Nia goes with you. We designed her to be easily accessible regardless of where you are in rivva. Home screen, Tasks, Inbox, Planner, Settings—Nia’s always just a tap away, ready to help.
What can Nia actually do for me?
Here’s the thing: Nia can handle a lot. You can ask her to:
Plan your day or week
“Plan my day based on my energy”
“Help me organize next week’s workload”
“What should I prioritize this week?”
Create and manage tasks
“Add a task to review the budget report by Friday”
“I need to finish the proposal, review contracts, and schedule a team meeting—all by Wednesday”
“Create a high-priority task to submit the report by Jan 15th”
Schedule events
“Schedule a meeting with the marketing team on Tuesday at 10am”
“Find time for a 1-hour strategy session with the team this week”
“Set up a client call with john@example.com on Friday at 2pm”
Edit and reschedule work
“Move my 2pm meeting to 4pm”
“Reschedule all my Friday meetings to next week”
“Push all my tasks from today to tomorrow”
Break down complex projects
“Break down ‘launch new marketing campaign’ into tasks”
“I need to prepare an investor presentation by Jan 30th, break it down for me”
“Help me plan the steps for hiring a new designer”
Coach you through tough days
“I’m feeling stuck, what’s the easiest thing I can start with?”
“My energy is low—what can I still accomplish?”
“I’m overwhelmed, help me prioritize”
“Everything feels urgent, what should I do first?”
Help you understand your patterns
“When am I most focused during the day?”
“How did my week go?”
“Why am I always tired after lunch?”
“Show me my energy patterns”
Suggest recovery strategies
“I need a break, what should I do?”
“I’m burnt out, how do I recharge?”
“When should I take breaks today?”
How to talk to Nia
The best part is you don’t need special commands or rigid phrasing. Just talk to Nia like you’re talking to a friend. A simple “Hi” works, or you can dive straight into what you need.
“Nia, I’m drowning in tasks and have no idea where to start.”
“Help me plan tomorrow. I have three meetings and need to finish a proposal.”
“I slept terribly. What should I focus on today?”
She’ll figure it out. And when Nia creates, deletes, reschedules, or completes tasks or events for you, she shows you a live preview of what she’s about to do. You stay in control—you can accept or reject her suggestions.
What languages does Nia support?
Currently, Nia only supports English. But our goal is to make her available in as many languages as possible. We’ll keep this updated as we expand.
What can’t Nia help with?
Nia’s laser-focused on productivity and wellbeing. So while she’s incredible at helping you plan, schedule, and recharge, she can’t:
Give personal advice unrelated to your work or energy
Answer general knowledge questions (she’s not Google)
Make complex decisions outside your workload or wellbeing
She also has some current limitations around context and processing:
Batch limits: Nia processes a maximum of 3 tasks or events per action (create, update, delete). If you give her 10 tasks to schedule, she’ll do the first 3, then the next 3, and so on until everything’s complete.
Data access: Nia can only see what’s in your rivva account—tasks, calendar, energy/sleep logs, and your profile. She can’t pull info from outside sources.
Context memory: Right now, Nia doesn’t remember conversations across sessions. Each chat starts fresh. But we’re actively working on this.
Decision-making: Nia’s designed to be decisive and pick the best option for you. But if something’s truly ambiguous (like multiple Johns in your contacts), she might need your input to schedule correctly.
Is Nia available 24/7?
Yes. Nia doesn’t sleep (though she’ll definitely remind you to). Whether it’s 6am or midnight, she’s ready to help you make sense of your day, check in on how you’re feeling, or guide you through a recharge.
Can I talk to Nia every day?
Absolutely. Start your day with her, check in mid-way, or do a quick reflection before bed. The more you interact with Nia, the more helpful she becomes.
Is Nia watching or listening to me?
No. rivva doesn’t listen through your mic or access your camera. Nia only works with the information you choose to share—your calendar, tasks, mood, energy check-ins, and sleep data. Nothing creepy. Just context to support you better.
Will Nia make decisions for me?
Never without your permission. Nia might suggest when to work, when to rest, and how to plan your day—but you’re always in control. You can accept, change, or ignore her suggestions.
Think of Nia as your co-pilot, not the pilot.
What if Nia takes too long to respond?
Occasionally, Nia might take a little longer than usual. If that happens, you can either wait a moment or start a new chat. If delays keep happening, reach out to us at support@rivva.app or via our WhatsApp support line. We’ll get things running smoothly again.
Still have questions about Nia? We’re here to help. Email us at support@rivva.app or message us on WhatsApp.
